Ernst & Young
Times, they are a-changin’. Especially if you’re called Ernst & Young. As a historic tax and accounting powerhouse navigating the digital age, they’re after the same talent Google, Amazon and Apple are snapping up (tech-lovers with big brains, studying science, technology, economics and maths-related degrees). But, being devout realists, EY knew it had to update its image to bag the best.
From scripts to social, web copy and more, I helped EY’s employer brand reach modern-day masterminds AKA Gen Z.
EY were bored and broken by their onboarding email for new joiners, so Lewis Son (animator) and I reimagined it.
Animation to help EY show how it revolutionised the application process for students.
Baffled by the lack of solid career advice out there for the UK’s whippersnappers, EY stepped in to say a few words. I wrote the scripts for a touring webinar with three topics: what skills employers need from the next generation, how to flip perspectives on careers advice, and where students could fit in at EY.

EY is involved with shed loads of next-gen tech, which is exactly what it wanted to show Gen Z students through a series of carousels.
Jobs with next-gen tech get Gen Z’ers all riled up, so EY asked me to write a carousel flexing their robotic muscle.
Applying for apprenticeships can be daunting, often a few encouraging words from former apprentices can sway a school leaver or two, so EY fired up ‘If only I’d known’. Bold colours, cloud people and some top advice from those that have been there and done it.

Tech jargon is confusing, so EY asked me to rack up a few Instagram posts leading students to their jargon buster.
